Hi there and welcome :)

If you’re interested in my story, read below.

Hi, I’m Angela, an amateur, self-taught baker and culinary enthusiast. My love for baking and cooking began in high school. When Snapchat became popular around 2015, I discovered various channels, including one called “Tasty.” Despite not baking or cooking at the time, I subscribed to their channel and began watching their videos. Over time, I found myself looking forward to watching their new videos every day after school. One day, I saw a Brownie recipe topped with Coconut Frosting that looked amazing. With my mom’s help, I decided to try it, and it tasted incredible.

As I focused on preparing for university, my passion for baking took a backseat. I started university in the fall of 2017, and during those years, I mostly relied on city food and takeout. I was intimidated by cooking and lacked confidence, so I chose convenience over trying new things.

Fast forward to 2021, when I met my significant other, a dedicated foodie. During the COVID lockdowns and various restrictions, we began sharing recipe and food videos with each other every day. On our third date, I suggested cooking together at home, and we made a simple cheesy pasta and Tiramisu. This experience rekindled my passion for home-cooked meals, and from then on, I made them every time we met.

Initially, my cooking wasn’t great. I faced many failures and spent about a year familiarizing myself with flavors and seasonings. Thankfully, my significant other was always supportive, and his encouragement helped me improve.

In June 2022, I started posting dessert recipes on TikTok. My early videos were low quality, but I was determined. By February 2023, I invested in a good-quality microphone, and despite having fewer than 1,000 followers at the time, I was grateful for each one. My efforts paid off, and by November 2023, I began gaining recognition and love from people. Today, I have over 10K followers, and I’m incredibly grateful for each of you. My next project is to invest in a camera and create Youtube videos.

I’ve started this blog to inspire others to cook or share their recipes on social media. Follow your dreams and remember, nothing is impossible. Initially, I was afraid of posting on social media due to concerns about others opinions. I eventually realized that I shouldn’t let others define me. If people criticize or gossip, it reflects more on them than on you. Don’t let negativity discourage you.

Dreams

One of my biggest dreams is to attend and graduate from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. While this remains a future goal, I am determined to make it happen one day. Could be in 5 years, could be in 10. Another dream is to open a small, cozy bakery where I can serve coffee and freshly baked goods every morning.

Thank you for supporting me on this journey. Happy cooking and baking!
